Business Development Director - Corporate Services

About the role

IQ-EQ, a global investor services group serving investment managers, asset owners and global businesses with administration, compliance, governance, data and reporting, is hiring a Business Development Director for its Corporate Services practice in Singapore. The role drives growth and nurtures relationships with existing prospects, leading strategic initiatives and acting as the main point of contact for prospect engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships at executive and operational levels, becoming an expert on prospects' organisational structure and strategic goals
• Act as primary point of contact, engaging C-suite and other key decision-makers with tailored solutions
• Stay ahead of industry trends and competitors, adapting strategies for long-term retention and growth
• Provide feedback to internal teams on product functionality and market trends
• Lead the creation of prospect-specific value propositions and collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on bespoke solutions
• Leverage IQ-EQ's global network to build a holistic client engagement strategy
• Lead cross-functional teams in preparing proposals and presentations
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and keep prospect activity records up to date in the CRM system

Required profile

• Proven track record of 10+ years in business development, client relationship management or similar roles in financial services, private equity or asset management
• Ability to drive strategic initiatives and close high-value deals
• Exceptional leadership skills and strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable in fast-paced, data-driven environments
