Business Development Director

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead our expansion into the Greater China market. The role will focus on building strategic partnerships with universities, educational institutions and corporate clients, while coordinating closely with our Singapore headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies for the China market.
• Build and maintain relationships with universities, educational institutions, channel partners and corporate clients.
• Manage existing client portfolio and identify new business opportunities.
• Coordinate with partners in China and work closely with the Singapore headquarters.
• Strengthen and expand our network of education agencies and business partners.
• Conduct market research to uncover new partnership opportunities.
• Represent the company at business meetings, education events and industry conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of business development or partnership management experience.
• Familiarity with both Singapore and Chinese business cultures.
• Fluent Mandarin for client and partner communication; basic English writing skills.
• Knowledge of the education, EduTech, management or corporate services industry is a plus.
