Business Development Executive

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to identify and secure new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships. The role requires a deep understanding of client needs, effective communication, and a focus on revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue business development opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.
• Build and maintain long‑lasting relationships, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Increase client retention by regularly reaching out to key accounts and private clients.
• Resolve customer concerns to maximize revenue and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and analyse client data for trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet client expectations, manage inventory, logistics, and order fulfilment.
• Assist in drafting proposals and provide administrative support for smooth day‑to‑day operations.
• Perform any ad‑hoc duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing customer service and expectations for high‑profile clients.
• Proven experience in customer‑facing roles such as customer relations.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, able to liaise, translate and communicate effectively with Chinese‑speaking clients.
• Strong negotiation, conflict‑resolution and organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with internet tools and Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
