Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager is a core member of Finmo’s go‑to‑market team, responsible for generating outbound pipeline and establishing the processes that will support future growth. You will work closely with Sales Leadership, Account Executives, Partnerships, Marketing and Product to identify opportunities, engage prospects and continuously improve pipeline generation across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research target accounts that match Finmo’s Ideal Customer Profile across key markets and industries.
• Execute outbound prospecting via cold calling, personalised email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, referrals and events.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities for the sales team.
• Engage decision‑makers in Finance, Treasury, Operations, Payments and related functions.
• Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer pain points and qualification criteria.
• Partner with Sales Leadership to refine prospecting strategies, messaging and outreach approaches.
• Develop and continuously improve outbound prospecting playbooks, qualification frameworks and engagement sequences.
• Maintain accurate records in HubSpot CRM, track activity metrics and recommend process improvements.
