Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive growth by identifying and acquiring new clients for our IT recruitment, staffing and services business in Singapore. You will build strong relationships, understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions to expand our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively identify and acquire new clients to expand the Singapore client base.
• Develop and execute business development strategies across IT recruitment, staffing and IT services.
• Build and sustain relationships with prospective clients, understanding their hiring and project needs.
• Present and promote service offerings through meetings, pitches and formal presentations.
• Convert marketing-generated leads into revenue‑generating accounts.
• Prepare and deliver commercial proposals, quotations and rate cards.
• Negotiate contracts, service agreements and commercial terms.
• Provide regular reporting on pipeline, acquisition activity and revenue achievement.
• Monitor industry trends, hiring demand and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with delivery and recruitment teams to ensure client expectations are met post‑sale.

Required profile

• 3+ years of business development or client‑facing sales experience, preferably within IT recruitment, staffing or IT services.
• Proven track record of winning new logos and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of the Singapore IT market, hiring landscape and employment practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable working autonomously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced use of MS Office.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace.
