Business Development Manager – Logistics & Supply Chain

About the role

Classic Systems Asia is seeking a results‑driven Business Development Manager to expand its Contract Logistics and Freight Management portfolio across Asia. You will identify new opportunities, design integrated supply‑chain solutions and convert leads into revenue while collaborating closely with operations, finance and solutions teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue and secure new business for warehousing, transportation, freight management and value‑added services.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and gross‑profit targets.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking and market intelligence.
• Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, proposal preparation, negotiation, contract award and hand‑over to implementation.
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision‑makers, ensuring smooth onboarding and identifying cross‑sell/upsell opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging segments, providing insights to senior management.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and produce regular sales forecasts and reports.

Required profile

• Proven track record in B2B sales within logistics, freight or supply‑chain services.
• Strong network of contacts in the logistics industry.
• Ability to understand complex supply‑chain challenges and propose tailored solutions.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems for pipeline and account management.
• Familiarity with preparing quotations, RFQs, RFPs and commercial proposals.
