Business Development Manager – Smart Aquaculture

About the role

RYNAN Smart Aquaculture is seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to expand its global footprint. Based in Singapore, you will lead the full sales cycle for innovative aquaculture technologies, from prospecting to closing deals, while travelling regionally and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective customers, investors, farm operators, distributors and strategic partners.
• Qualify inbound leads, assess commercial potential, budget, decision process and timeline.
• Conduct discovery meetings, product presentations and commercial pitches.
• Develop opportunities for TOMGOXY farm projects, engaging investors, landowners and local partners.
• Recruit, assess and support international distributors.
• Visit prospective customer sites together with the technical team.
• Represent RYNAN at aquaculture exhibitions, conferences and industry events.
• Coordinate proposals, quotations, follow‑ups and negotiations.
• Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate opportunity reporting.
• Collaborate with marketing to improve lead generation and sales materials.
• Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to management and technical teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or solution selling.
• Track record selling higher‑value technical solutions with longer sales cycles.
• Strong prospecting ability and comfort with complex technology discussions.
• Ability to work independently and travel regularly across regions.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
