Business Development Manager – Southeast Asia

About the role

Lead Finstock’s commercial expansion across Southeast Asia by building institutional relationships, developing strategic partnerships, managing enterprise sales cycles, and converting regional opportunities into sustainable revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the business development strategy for Southeast Asia.
• Build a qualified pipeline of financial institutions, asset managers, fintech companies, research teams, universities and enterprise clients.
• Manage the full sales cycle from market mapping and prospecting to proposals, negotiation and contract closure.
• Establish strategic partnerships with financial‑data providers, technology firms, industry associations and regional institutions.
• Conduct product presentations, discovery sessions and commercial negotiations with senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and solutions teams to translate customer requirements into proposals.
• Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, market intelligence, partnership records and revenue reports.
• Represent Finstock at fintech, financial‑services, AI and investment industry events across the region.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in business development, enterprise sales or strategic partnerships.
• Proven track record of developing B2B opportunities in one or more Southeast Asian markets.
• Strong negotiation, relationship‑management, presentation and commercial‑planning abilities.
• Ability to engage senior decision‑makers and influence outcomes.
• Willingness to travel regionally and relocate to Singapore.

• Base salary USD 65,000–85,000 per year.
