Business Development Specialist

About the role

EPOS, a leading POS digital solutions provider backed by Ant International, is expanding its Payments Team across Asia. We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Specialist to drive merchant acquisition and grow our payment solutions portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new merchant leads through cold outreach, referrals and networking.
• Deliver tailored sales presentations and product demos to showcase EPOS payment solutions.
• Negotiate terms, close deals and onboard merchants onto the platform.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Understand merchant pain points, support onboarding and ensure smooth hand‑over to operations.
• Maintain long‑term relationships to uncover upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, operations and customer success teams to ensure merchant satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within the offline payments or fintech sector.
• Strong hunter mindset with a track record of acquiring new customers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a full sales cycle.
