Business Development Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our Singapore team in a full‑time, hybrid capacity. You will identify and engage potential customers and partners, understand their business priorities, and nurture relationships that can evolve into lasting opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Research target markets and accounts, conduct outreach, and qualify prospective customers.
• Coordinate discovery conversations and collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams to craft tailored proposals and presentations.
• Maintain accurate prospect and sales‑pipeline records, ensuring consistent follow‑up.
• Leverage market insights to continuously improve outreach strategies and messaging.
• Work independently while collaborating across cultures and regions to support international expansion.

Required profile

• Experience in B2B business development, sales, partnerships, or a related customer‑facing role; enterprise software or SaaS background is a plus.
• Strong research and analytical abilities to identify relevant accounts and assess market opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of leading discovery conversations and preparing professional presentations.
• Disciplined approach to prospecting, qualification, follow‑up, and pipeline management.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and comfort using data to track activity and inform decisions.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or equivalent practical experience; professional fluency in English required, additional Asian language proficiency advantageous.
