Business Manager - Corporate Governance (Fixed Term)

About the role

A leading investment management firm with an established presence in Asia is seeking an experienced professional to support its Corporate Governance function in a senior business management capacity. This is a fixed-term contract position reporting to the Head of Risk.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee strategic planning, governance and business management activities across the Corporate Governance function, working closely with senior leadership on organisational priorities, performance objectives and cross-functional initiatives.
• Coordinate leadership meetings and governance processes, and prepare board-level and executive materials.
• Monitor action items and ensure timely escalation of significant matters.
• Lead strategic projects and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and risk governance.
• Facilitate effective communication across the function and represent the team in relevant committees and cross-business initiatives.

Required profile

• Over 10 years of relevant professional experience; at least five years in investment management strongly preferred.
• Proven track record in strategic execution, project leadership and stakeholder management, including navigating complex, cross-functional priorities.
• Proactive, solutions-oriented and consultative approach, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, and the ability to manage competing demands, anticipate emerging issues and resolve sensitive matters diplomatically.
