Business Manager – Europe Asia Client Group

About the role

Capital Group is hiring a Business Manager within its Client Group, supporting growth of the business and its clients in Europe and Asia. The role works closely with Heads of Client Groups, Sales Leadership and the broader Salesforce, Product and Marketing leadership, with a focus on Southeast Asia and Greater China. It involves business case creation, presentation development, business planning, handling client-related issues and coordinating across many functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual business planning process, build and validate plans with Sales, Client Relations, Product, Operations and Marketing, track them throughout the year and present them to leadership
• Partner with sales teams on business enablement, capability mapping and structural design, and resolve critical business development issues
• Work with Global Finance on budgets and financial reporting, and take part in governance groups
• Lead, project manage or participate in regional business initiatives, including new markets, products or functions, and targeted client development and consulting
• Support business leads in monitoring client group performance, and help senior management understand the operational landscape through metrics and reporting
• Contribute to ad hoc global Business Management initiatives, develop BM standards and work with the BM team in Europe and Asia

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree with approximately 10+ years of relevant professional experience
• Proven experience in a global organization, partnering with cross-regional stakeholders across different geographies, cultures and time zones
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills, and the ability to drive alignment without direct authority
• Analytical, problem-solving and project management skills, with attention to detail and strategic thinking
• Learning agility, adaptability and a continuous improvement mindset
