CAD-CAM Engineer

About the role

The CAD-CAM Engineer will lead BIM coordination for large‑scale construction projects, ensuring that design deliverables are produced on schedule and meet quality standards. You will work closely with contractors, consultants, and end‑users to resolve design issues and support project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create and monitor drawing submission schedules, guaranteeing timely delivery.
• Prepare project and weekly progress reports.
• Perform clash detection, identify conflicts, and implement resolutions.
• Support the development and maintenance of company and project‑specific BIM standards.
• Conduct quality control of BIM outputs generated by BIM modelers.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and end‑users to address design issues.
• Lead or support weekly BIM coordination meetings.
• Train junior BIM modelers on required software and applications.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on large‑scale BIM projects within a main‑contractor environment.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
• Experience using Navisworks for clash detection.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of BIM workflows and construction processes.
