Catering Sales Manager

About the role

The Catering Sales Manager will be based on‑site at METT Singapore, a lifestyle hotel in Fort Canning Park. This full‑time position drives catering and event sales, working closely with clients to create memorable experiences and supporting the hotel’s revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new clients, respond to enquiries and prepare tailored proposals for meetings, social events and corporate functions.
• Conduct site inspections and collaborate with food‑and‑beverage and operations teams to design event concepts.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process, from negotiation and contract signing to post‑event performance monitoring.
• Maintain accurate records in the sales CRM, forecast revenue and support marketing initiatives.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships to generate repeat business and ensure high guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hospitality sales, preferably within hotels or dedicated event venues.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and communication abilities in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM or sales‑management tools.
• Competent use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
