Chef (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Chef on a contract basis to plan, prepare, and cook a variety of dishes in line with our restaurant recipes and quality standards. The role involves overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring consistent food quality.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and cook dishes according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Develop and update menus, recipes, and food preparation procedures.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
• Monitor food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Supervise and guide kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking activities.
• Manage inventory, order ingredients, and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and workplace safety requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in food preparation and kitchen operations within a restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen management.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
