Chief Accountant

About the role

Reolink is looking for a hands‑on Chief Accountant to lead the group closing process across its 16 legal entities. You will work closely with the Finance team to improve reporting quality and support the scaling of the Finance Shared Services Centre.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end monthly, quarterly and year‑end close calendar for all entities, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Prepare and review consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow statements, including intercompany eliminations, FX translation and minority interest adjustments.
• Maintain and enhance the NetSuite consolidation module and chart‑of‑accounts mapping across entities and currencies.
• Review statutory‑to‑management reporting reconciliations and enforce consistent accounting policies.
• Produce group management accounts, board reporting packs and variance analysis against budget and forecast.
• Research and apply technical accounting positions such as revenue recognition for hardware‑plus‑subscription bundles and lease accounting.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance with CA (Singapore) or equivalent (CPA, ACCA).
• 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 audit training and group finance/consolidation roles.
• Hands‑on experience closing and consolidating 10+ legal entities across APAC and at least one Western jurisdiction.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS(I)/IFRS, intercompany eliminations and foreign‑exchange translation.
• Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP; advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Exposure to shared services/SSC models and consumer‑electronics or subscription‑based businesses is a plus.
