Chief Cook

About the role

The Chief Cook will lead the kitchen operations at 122 Brewcoffee, ensuring all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards while supporting smooth service flow. This senior kitchen position reports to management and works closely with front‑of‑house staff and wholesale buyers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Allocate duties, supervise kitchen staff and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Manage stock, conduct inventory checks, and place orders for supplies.
• Maintain strict hygiene, food safety and housekeeping standards.
• Store, prepare and present food safely and hygienically.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients and wholesale buyers.
• Work night shifts, split shifts and be available for extra hours or weekends as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably as a head cook or kitchen supervisor.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and cleanliness.
• Ability to lead a team, allocate tasks and maintain smooth kitchen operations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including night and weekend shifts.
