Chief Cook

About the role

Sakura Kitchen is seeking an experienced Chief Cook to lead our kitchen operations in Singapore. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth workflow across all shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to standard operating procedures.
• Allocate duties and supervise kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Manage stock‑checking, inventory control, and ordering of supplies.
• Maintain strict hygiene and housekeeping standards within the kitchen.
• Store, prepare, and present food safely and hygienically.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients and wholesale buyers.
• Work night and split shifts, with flexibility for extra hours or weekends as needed.

Required profile

• Executive‑level experience in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Willingness to work night, split, and occasional weekend shifts.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
