Chinese Cuisine Chef

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chinese Cuisine Chef to join our island‑wide restaurant network in Singapore. The successful candidate will work in a high‑volume kitchen, preparing authentic Chinese dishes across various regional concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes following established recipes, ensuring consistent taste, presentation and portion size.
• Pre‑prepare ingredients, manage stock, and maintain proper food storage and handling procedures.
• Monitor food quality and freshness, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, minimizing waste and controlling ingredient usage.
• Support the Kitchen Supervisor and team during peak service periods.
• Train and guide junior kitchen staff as needed.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in Chinese cuisine, preferably with exposure to regional styles such as Sichuan.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high‑volume environment and handle shift work, weekends and public holidays.
• Team player with a positive and responsible attitude.
