Client Relationship Associate

About the role

The Client Relationship Associate provides dedicated support to private banking clients, ensuring their inquiries are addressed promptly and their documentation is kept up‑to‑date. Working closely with Relationship Managers, the associate helps maintain high levels of client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with questions and concerns regarding private banking products and services.
• Prepare and follow up on documentation for client meetings, including expired forms such as W8Ben, RPQ, and VC forms.
• Manage and update client records, handling changes to addresses, identification documents, and powers of attorney.
• Monitor client accounts for opportunities and risks, including loan due dates, corporate actions, credit violations, and trade settlements.
• Ensure all client documentation complies with regulatory requirements and support the preparation of compliance reports and audits.
• Support monitoring of funding availability, loan renewals, and margin call status.
• Collaborate with internal product specialists, operations, and other departments to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Assist Relationship Managers in identifying new business opportunities and reviewing client portfolios.

Required profile

• Ability to provide personalized service and respond to client inquiries efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail when preparing and maintaining client documentation.
• Experience in managing client records and ensuring data accuracy.
• Understanding of compliance requirements related to private banking.
• Proactive approach to monitoring account activity and supporting risk management.
