Clinic Assistant – Junior Executive (Singapore)

About the role

The Clinic Assistant supports the daily operations of a general practitioner clinic across Singapore. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth registration, appointment management and assistance to clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, accurately capturing personal and medical information.
• Schedule appointments, follow‑ups and send reminders.
• Assist doctors and nurses during consultations and minor procedures.
• Prepare consultation rooms, maintain cleanliness and ensure equipment and supplies are ready.
• Dispense prescribed medication and provide basic instructions.
• Handle billing, payment collection and insurance claim processing.
• Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries and provide information on clinic services.
• Maintain confidential patient records and update documentation.
• Support inventory management, ordering of supplies and general administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or clinic environment is an advantage.
• Responsible, organized and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Customer‑service oriented with a friendly, patient attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours or rotating shifts.

Required skills

• Basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with clinic management systems.
