About the role
SingHealth is hiring a Clinical Coder within its Health Information Management Services. The role is available full-time or part-time and focuses on the accurate and timely abstraction and coding of diagnoses and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately and timely abstract and code diagnoses and procedures
- Take part in coding analysis, audits and reviews
- Liaise with doctors and other healthcare professionals on coding matters
- Take part in continuing education and training for new clinical coders
Required profile
- Diploma in Health Sciences or equivalent, with at least 2 years' relevant working experience
- Certificate in ICD-10-AM Coding or relevant medical coding experience in a hospital setting
- Meticulous, with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
