About the role

Tengah General and Community Hospital (TGCH) is seeking visionary clinician‑leaders to join as Clinical Leads for Medicine and Surgery specialties. This dual role combines hands‑on consultant practice with strategic leadership to shape the new hospital’s clinical services from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality specialist clinical care as a Consultant in an assigned medical or surgical specialty.
• Lead the design, planning and operationalisation of integrated, patient‑centred services for the new campus.
• Develop clinical governance frameworks, ensuring safety, quality and outcome standards.
• Drive innovation, translating emerging healthcare trends into scalable models.
• Recruit, mentor and build high‑performing multidisciplinary teams aligned with TGCH’s mission.
• Influence strategic decisions on patient flow, workforce models, facilities and digital health initiatives.

Required profile

• Board‑certified Consultant in a listed medical or surgical specialty.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in clinical service development or hospital transformation.
• Strong track record in teaching, mentoring and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Commitment to delivering value‑based, patient‑centred care.
