Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (OpenShift)

About the role

Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Government Technology Agency (GovTech), is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with OpenShift expertise to join its team in Singapore. The role covers designing, implementing and maintaining OpenShift clusters, working closely with development teams and supporting production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain OpenShift clusters in on-premises and cloud environments
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate OpenShift with CI/CD workflows
• Monitor and optimise OpenShift performance, ensuring high availability and scalability
• Implement security and compliance best practices for container orchestration
• Troubleshoot issues related to clusters, networking and services
• Create and maintain documentation on cluster configuration, operations and troubleshooting
• Stay up to date with container orchestration and microservices trends
• Take part in on-call rotations for production support

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, specifically with container orchestration
• Extensive hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of containerization and microservices architecture
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems quickly and strong teamwork and communication skills

Required skills

• Scripting and automation with Bash, Python or Ansible
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS and load balancing
