Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (SharePoint Familiarity)

About the role

Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS), a wholly owned subsidiary of GovTech, is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for a 2-year direct contract. As a specialist in Document Management Systems (DMS), you will join a high-impact GovTech project team working with Project Managers, Cloud Architects and Technical Consultants to design and deliver ICT capabilities for public sector efficiency. The role involves rotational 24/7 standby support and planned after-hours maintenance or patching.

Key responsibilities

• Manage enterprise-grade Document Management Systems to streamline content and document lifecycles
• Lead stakeholder workshops and requirements-gathering sessions to turn business workflows into functional and design specifications
• Define validation and acceptance criteria, and review system integration testing and data conversion processes
• Perform root cause analysis and work with developers to resolve complex technical issues, applying preventive measures to optimise performance

Required profile

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with OpenText Document Management Systems and/or Microsoft SharePoint
• Strong understanding of web standards, including security principles, session management and mobile-responsive design
• Ability to balance a strategic view with technical detail, and to communicate and influence senior stakeholders
• Self-motivated team player willing to take calculated risks
