Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

Kyndryl runs and reimagines the mission-critical technology systems that power leading businesses. As a Cloud Security Engineer in Singapore, you will help protect and secure enterprise cloud environments by monitoring security controls, responding to threats and driving continuous security improvements. You will work across cloud, platform, network and security teams within a large-scale managed services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts and incidents.
• Support vulnerability management and remediation activities.
• Maintain and improve cloud security controls.
• Work with infrastructure and platform teams to resolve security issues.
• Support compliance, audit and security governance requirements.
• Contribute to security improvements, automation and best practices.

Required profile

• Experience in cloud security, cybersecurity or security operations.
• Knowledge of security monitoring, incident response and vulnerability management.
• Understanding of cloud, network and identity security concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical teams.
• A growth mindset, customer focus and inclusive way of working.

Required skills

• Experience with security tools such as CyberArk, Tenable, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Trend Micro, Cisco ISE or similar.
• Preferred: experience supporting enterprise cloud environments, exposure to Azure, AWS or other platforms, and experience in managed services or large enterprises.
• Preferred: ITIL Foundation certification, and security certifications such as Security+, CISSP or CISM.
• Preferred: knowledge of automation and security process improvement.
