Cloud Storage Integration Engineer

About the role

Bitdeer is building a high‑performance GPU cloud platform that requires ultra‑fast, low‑latency storage. The Cloud Storage Integration Engineer will design and integrate distributed storage solutions, ensuring they meet the demanding throughput and reliability needs of large‑scale AI workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of cloud storage architecture and integrate commercial solutions such as VAST, DDN, and Weka.
• Develop storage data paths using DPUs (e.g., NVIDIA BlueField) to align compute, networking, and storage.
• Manage and optimize the host storage stack, including NVMe, NVMe‑oF, RDMA, multipath, file systems, and block devices.
• Design KVM/QEMU virtual machine storage using VirtIO Block, VirtIO SCSI, PCI passthrough, VFIO, and SR‑IOV.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of cloud volumes: provisioning, mounting, detaching, snapshotting, and resizing.
• Perform deep‑dive performance tuning on I/O latency, IOPS, RDMA, and NUMA.
• Collaborate with network, virtualization, GPU, and DPU teams to scale the platform.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Linux storage architecture, including block devices, device mapper, LVM, and filesystems.
• Proficiency with the Linux I/O stack (io_uring, AIO, NVMe, NVMe‑oF).
• Expertise in RDMA technologies such as RoCE, InfiniBand, and verbs.
• Hands‑on experience with KVM/QEMU, libvirt, and VirtIO.
• Solid knowledge of Linux networking fundamentals.
• Programming skills in Python or Go.
