About the role
Applied Materials is seeking a college intern to support strategic dual‑sourcing and risk mitigation initiatives within its supply chain. The role offers hands‑on experience in end‑to‑end sourcing processes and exposure to the semiconductor equipment industry.
Key responsibilities
- Manage RFQs and conduct supplier selection based on provided guidance.
- Compare quotes, lead commercial negotiations, and support award processing following internal procedures.
- Map and document sourcing processes to identify gaps and improve efficiency.
Required profile
- Student pursuing Business Analytics, Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
- Full‑time availability for the internship period.
- No travel required; relocation eligible.
