College Intern – Procurement & Data Analytics

About the role

Join Applied Materials as a College Intern to gain hands‑on experience in commodity procurement, sourcing and supplier management. You will support procurement strategies, analyse data for cost‑saving opportunities and build reporting tools using Power BI, Excel and Python.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in commodity procurement, sourcing and supplier management activities.
• Support procurement strategies, supplier performance monitoring and supply continuity initiatives.
• Analyse procurement data to identify cost‑saving, process‑improvement and automation opportunities.
• Develop dashboards, reports and automation tools with Power BI, Excel and Python to aid decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and/or Python for data analysis and automation.
• Basic understanding of procurement, supplier management and supply‑chain processes.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Good communication and stakeholder‑management skills; self‑motivated and eager to learn.
