Commercial Executive

About the role

The Commercial Executive is responsible for delivering effective responses to customer enquiries, preparing quotations, tender documents and invoices, and coordinating contract administration. This role ensures smooth commercial operations by liaising with vendors, internal teams and customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries, prepare quotations, tender documents and invoices.
• Collect and store commercial information, compile reports and presentations, and maintain client files.
• Prepare, consolidate and verify contract documentation, manage contract variations and resolve disputes.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to track project milestones and issue work completion certificates for invoicing.
• Handle billing and invoicing according to payment terms, collaborate with estimation teams on costings, and follow up on payment collection.
• Manage customer feedback, trend and track response rates for continuous improvement.
• Perform any other ad‑hoc commercial duties as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in commercial processes such as quotation preparation, tendering, invoicing and contract administration.
• Strong coordination skills to work with multiple internal departments and external vendors.
• Ability to analyse commercial data, compile reports and present findings.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accurate documentation and timely follow‑up.
