Commercial Executive

About the role

The Commercial Executive will act as the primary liaison between customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth commercial operations. This role involves managing enquiries, preparing quotations and tender documents, and overseeing invoicing and contract administration. The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement by analysing feedback and supporting ad‑hoc projects.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries and prepare accurate quotations, tender documents, and invoices.
• Liaise with vendors to procure parts required for on‑the‑job activities.
• Collect, store, and analyse commercial information from various sources; compile reports and presentations as needed.
• Maintain and update client files, and assist in the analysis of commercial data.
• Prepare, consolidate, and verify contract documentation; manage contract variations and dispute resolution.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to track project milestones and issue work completion certificates for invoicing.
• Handle billing and invoicing in line with contracted payment terms; collaborate with estimation teams on project costing.
• Follow up on payment collection, liaise with customers and legal on complex payment terms, and report critical issues to management.
• Collect and trend customer feedback to drive service improvements.
• Perform any other ad‑hoc duties as required.
