Commercial Relationship Manager, Vice President

About the role

Citi is hiring a Commercial Relationship Manager (Vice President) in Singapore, within the Commercial and Business Sales job family and the Relationship Management job family. The role manages a material portfolio of clients, acts as the client's primary contact and works with product specialists and case managers to build and retain relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a material portfolio of clients and call on them to deepen relationships, anticipating their needs, roadblocks and risks
• Serve as the client's main contact and manage internal teams to resolve customer service issues
• Introduce multi-faceted solutions and work with product specialists and subject matter experts to design custom solutions
• Work with the Case Manager on client on-boarding and retention, ensuring KYC and other compliance deliverables are met
• Identify cross-sell opportunities to grow share of wallet and share market updates and trends with clients
• Execute strategic initiatives launched centrally and network with clients, prospects and third parties for new business
• Administer the credit relationship, coordinating and supervising the process in line with policies and institutional processes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies, and assess risk carefully to protect the firm's reputation

Required profile

• 6-10 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred
• Sound knowledge of banking and investment products and processes, with a track record of sound banking and financial advice
• Advanced credit skills, including structuring complex and capital market deals
• Ability to work in teams and coordinate multi-functional teams
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, and ability to work under pressure
