Commis – Kitchen Assistant (Local Candidates Only)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis to join our kitchen brigade in Singapore. You will support food preparation, maintain a clean workstation, and help deliver high‑quality dishes in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare mise en place and handle food preparation according to recipe specifications.
• Set up and stock the assigned workstation with ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Assist with food presentation and plating under the guidance of the Executive Chef.
• Restock items throughout the shift and requisition daily perishable and dry supplies as needed.
• Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards, and keep the station clean at all times.
• Assist with receiving, checking, and storing goods, ensuring proper storage conditions.
• Participate in briefings, training sessions, and perform any ad‑hoc duties required by the kitchen.

Required profile

• Positive, friendly, and professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within a restaurant or café.
• Ability to adapt to various line positions and work effectively in a team.
• Familiarity with HACCP requirements and health‑and‑safety procedures.
