Communications Lead – Global Communications (Singapore)

About the role

Microsoft’s Global Communications team is seeking a senior Communications Lead to shape storytelling at the intersection of business, society, and AI in Singapore. You will drive thought leadership, build media relationships, and support executive and employee communications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an audience‑first communications strategy aligned with global priorities and local business needs.
• Lead media and influencer relations, securing tier‑one editorial coverage in Singapore.
• Manage agency partners and orchestrate reputation, issue, and crisis communications.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Country General Manager on strategic employee and executive communications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and account teams to create customer and partner innovation stories that position Microsoft as an AI thought leader.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of corporate communications and media‑relations experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a balance of strategic thinking and execution.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and act as an external communications advisor.
• Growth‑mindset, proactive approach, and willingness to experiment with new content formats.
• Deep understanding of the digital landscape and ability to identify engagement opportunities.
