Compliance Officer – Financial & Data Integrity Programs

About the role

Adyen is seeking a detail‑oriented Compliance Officer to join its Scheme Compliance team in Singapore. You will own the governance and continuous improvement of card‑network programs that cover transaction‑data integrity, cardholder‑data security, fraud, disputes, chargebacks and merchant financial integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead program‑management activities for the Financial & Data Integrity remit, including remediation tracking, documentation, stakeholder coordination and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support governance and execution of card‑network obligations such as fraud, dispute, chargeback, transaction‑data, data‑security, breach and financial‑recovery requirements (e.g., PCI, VAMP, EC​P, etc.).
• Maintain program plans, trackers, issue registers and evidence repositories for ongoing initiatives and escalations.
• Coordinate cross‑functional follow‑up on data‑quality issues, formatting errors, threshold breaches and remediation plans.
• Translate network requirements into internal policies, playbooks, control artifacts and stakeholder actions that can be applied globally.
• Prepare concise updates and materials for leadership reviews, audits and regulatory discussions.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience in payments, fintech or other regulated environments; familiarity with card‑network compliance, fraud, disputes, chargebacks, PCI and data‑security programs is a strong advantage.
• Comfortable working across technical and non‑technical teams (Product, Engineering, Risk, Legal, Commercial, Operations).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of synthesising complex external requirements into clear internal actions.
• Proven ability to manage structured programs, drive remediation to completion and influence progress without direct authority.
