Construction Contracts Manager

About the role

You will be the strategic lead for all commercial and financial aspects of the company’s MEP projects in Singapore. The role covers the full contract lifecycle, from tender evaluation to post‑contract administration, with a focus on margin optimisation and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end contract management, including tender evaluation, negotiations, variation orders and claims.
• Ensure compliance with BCA, MOM and other statutory requirements.
• Manage main contracts and subcontract agreements, aligning back‑to‑back terms.
• Prepare and review contractual correspondence, notices, claims and cost variation documentation.
• Monitor project budgets, cost forecasts and cash flow to achieve profitability targets.
• Oversee monthly progress claims, payment certifications and final account settlements.
• Drive margin improvement through cost control, value engineering and waste reduction.
• Identify and mitigate commercial, financial and contractual risks across multiple projects.
• Support audit activities, insurance matters and dispute resolution, including SOPA adjudication.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Strong commercial management experience in the M&E industry with extensive Singapore project exposure.
• Familiarity with standard Singapore construction contracts such as PSSCOC and SIA forms.

Required skills

• Knowledge of PSSCOC contract framework.
• Knowledge of SIA contract forms.
