Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead planning and on‑site operations for construction projects across Singapore, ensuring progress aligns with schedules, compliance standards and client expectations. You will work closely with clients, authorities, consultants and subcontractors to resolve issues and drive efficient construction delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall planning and site operations to achieve timely project delivery while enforcing ISO, safety and environmental policies.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, consultants, quantity surveyors, purchasing teams and subcontractors to facilitate progress.
• Monitor and expedite submission and approval processes for structural, architectural and M&E works.
• Develop and maintain master programmes and detailed micro‑schedules for all trades.
• Identify and resolve site obstructions, supervise coordinators and engineers, and ensure clear communication among architectural, structural and M&E teams.
• Oversee material sample approvals, method‑statement preparation and mock‑up unit creation.
• Conduct daily site and safety inspections, maintain testing records and ensure compliance with contract terms.
• Lead progress meetings, deliver presentations to stakeholders and manage correspondence to keep projects aligned.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading construction site operations and planning.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills to manage schedules, documentation and approvals.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO standards and safety regulations.
• Familiarity with environmental compliance procedures.
