Construction Site Supervisor

About the role

The Site Supervisor will lead day‑to‑day operations on construction sites for AES Construction, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all on‑site activities, coordinating construction teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain safety compliance, conduct inspections and enforce health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Monitor quality of work, perform regular inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications and building codes.
• Manage delivery, storage and usage of materials, tools and equipment.
• Assist in developing and updating construction schedules to keep projects on track.
• Resolve on‑site issues such as delays, material shortages or unforeseen challenges.
• Prepare daily progress reports and document incidents or safety violations.
• Serve as primary contact for project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors and clients.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering or related field (preferred).
• Construction safety certification such as OSHA (often required).

Required skills

• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
