Consulting Project Manager – HCM

About the role

Oracle Consulting is seeking an experienced Consulting Project Manager to lead large‑scale Human Capital Management (HCM) and Payroll transformation projects. You will work with diverse customers across multiple industries, guiding them through the adoption of Oracle Fusion HCM and Payroll solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project teams, schedules, budgets, risks, issues and change control for complex, multi‑workstream engagements.
• Influence customer leadership to accept Oracle HCM/Payroll solutions and drive successful consulting outcomes.
• Develop statements of work, work breakdown structures, level‑of‑effort estimates and staffing plans; present implementation approaches and transformation roadmaps.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM/Payroll capabilities, integrations, localization and regulatory compliance.
• Lead knowledge transfer from sales to delivery teams and ensure high‑quality, secure, compliant HR/Payroll solutions.
• Operate independently using Oracle methodology and best practices on moderately to highly complex engagements, including multi‑pillar programs.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend innovative Oracle Cloud HCM/Payroll solutions.
• Engage with customers in public sector, education, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing and telecom, often in multi‑country environments requiring security clearances.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in consulting and IT implementation for HCM or equivalent payroll software.
• Proven track record leading HR and Payroll transformation programs for large enterprises, including statutory and regulatory compliance.
• 12+ years of hands‑on project management across multi‑workstream programs with rigorous risk, budget, stakeholder and vendor management.
• Deep knowledge of implementation methodologies, data privacy, segregation of duties, security roles and testing/validation controls.
