Continuous Improvement Project Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Continuous Improvement Project Manager to lead process‑improvement initiatives within its Singapore operations, supporting the design and manufacturing of semiconductor and display equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project plans and coordinate the attainment of deliverables from planning through implementation, maintaining a matrix for process improvements.
• Drive project deliverables and task details using reports, tracking charts, and checklists.
• Align internal resources to achieve on‑time and within‑budget performance objectives.
• Monitor and report project cost performance to the business unit.
• Participate in intra‑business‑unit design teams to complete projects.
• Contribute to the team’s technical development in pursuit of project goals.
• Research causes of project obstacles and assist in implementing resolution solutions.

Required profile

• Demonstrated conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline with basic knowledge of related fields.
• Understanding of best practices and how the role integrates with other functions; awareness of market competition.
• Ability to act as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and lead small, low‑risk projects.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, capable of analyzing multiple information sources and proposing new perspectives.
• Impact on customer, operational, and project activities across teams while working within broad guidelines.
