Contract M/SM, Financial Control, Sustainability & Reporting (12 months)

About the role

This is a 12-month contract position within the Sustainability and Reporting team, supporting sustainable tourism initiatives. The role sits in the Tourism Court Building in Singapore and covers GSTC certification support, sustainability reporting and marketing and communication.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Global Sustainable Tourism Council Destination (GSTC) Certification efforts for Singapore.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to implement STB's sustainability strategy.
• Organise Sustainable Tourism Conversations, an industry event, from planning to execution.
• Communicate sustainability management and reporting requirements so they align with reporting standards and industry best practice.
• Contribute to the annual sustainability report, curating its content and working with appointed consultants to improve it.
• Manage sustainability marketing and communication, including regular updates on sustainability developments and sustainable tourism materials.
• Track and monitor sustainability-related indicators for reporting purposes.
• Provide support for WOG sustainability meetings that STB takes part in, and carry out other ad-hoc work aligned with department objectives.

Required profile

• Background in communications, marketing, sustainability, business or finance.
• Good business acumen, analytical thinking and judgement.
• Ability to work effectively within STB and with stakeholders outside STB.
• Commitment, innovation and continuous learning.
