Controller I – Corporate Controls FP&A

About the role

As a Controller I within Corporate Controls FP&A, you will partner with senior leaders of ASM’s corporate functions to drive financial performance through planning, analysis and reporting. You will provide the financial insight needed for strategic decisions, operational excellence and sustainable growth in a global semiconductor environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Finance Business Partner for Business Development, Risk Management, Tax, Government Relations and EHS.
• Lead monthly financial controlling activities, including performance analysis and compliance with internal controls.
• Manage month‑end close for assigned corporate functions.
• Drive monthly forecasting and the annual budgeting process.
• Support corporate and group financial reporting and the annual planning cycle.
• Identify cost‑efficiency opportunities and contribute to financial transformation initiatives such as system implementations.
• Participate in strategic projects including M&A integrations and reporting platform enhancements.
• Build strong relationships with finance and business stakeholders to enable informed decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in finance, controlling, accounting or FP&A, with at least 3 years in FP&A.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls and corporate finance practices.
• Proven track record preparing budgets, forecasts and management reports.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
