COO / General Manager – Education Group

About the role

We are seeking a commercially minded operations leader to serve as COO / General Manager for a well‑established education group in Singapore. The role offers the opportunity to oversee a sizeable network of centres, drive strategic growth, and shape the next chapter of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Full P&L accountability for the centre network, including revenue, margin and cost discipline.
• Lead a large, distributed workforce and partner closely with centre leaders and the central marketing function.
• Drive performance across enrolment, service standards and operational execution.
• Lead strategic initiatives such as market expansion and service innovation.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to raise standards and support business growth.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of leadership experience running multi‑site, consumer‑facing operations with genuine P&L ownership.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical abilities and comfort presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Empathetic leadership style with the ability to build and manage professional teams.
• Sector background is open; experience in retail, F&B, healthcare, private education, dental, eldercare, wellness or similar is acceptable.
