Corporate Associate – Singapore

About the role

We are looking to hire a Singapore‑qualified Associate to join the Withers Singapore Corporate team. The ideal candidate will have worked in a corporate team with experience in mergers and acquisitions and general corporate work. The role can be demanding and fast‑paced, requiring efficient prioritisation, multitasking and calmness under pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Advising clients on mergers and acquisitions across various industry sectors.
• Working collaboratively with a team of corporate lawyers of diverse backgrounds and expertise.
• Providing counsel on high‑value and complex corporate matters.
• Drafting corporate documents and conducting legal research.
• Collaborating with colleagues in Singapore and other offices and practice groups.

Required profile

• 2–4 years post‑qualification experience in mergers and acquisitions and general corporate work.
• Singapore qualified – mandatory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
• Proficiency in PC applications such as Word and Excel.
