Corporate Banking Support Banker - Vice President

About the role

Citi is hiring a Corporate Banking Support Banker for its GNB China Desk Team in Singapore. This intermediate-level role supports Chinese clients across Treasury and Transaction Banking, FX, trade, cards and more, working with the Institutional Banking team across Asia. The aim is to support clients and senior Relationship Managers, drive revenue through origination and cross-selling, deploy capital efficiently and manage risk.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Senior Bankers to provide overall relationship management support.
• Assist with day-to-day cash management, payments, collections, commercial cards, trade finance, foreign exchange, loan activity, debt capital markets, share repurchases and interest rate and equity derivatives.
• Support bankers in cross-selling products and services by identifying customer needs.
• Stay up to date with market and industry trends, best practices and the competitive landscape.
• Assess risk appropriately and ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations, company policy and ethical standards, and escalate and report control issues transparently.

Required profile

• 5-8 years of experience.
• Bachelor's or university degree or equivalent experience; MBA or Master's degree in Business preferred.
• Good knowledge of cash management, treasury and markets products and solutions.
• Strong credit skills, credit background and knowledge of Citi's credit policies and products across countries.
• Knowledge of the regulatory landscape in Asia.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
