Corporate Counsel

About the role

The Corporate Counsel will provide legal advisory support across the StarHub Group, ensuring that all business and operational activities comply with internal policies, corporate governance, data protection, cybersecurity, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate and advise on commercial agreements and corporate transactions covering telecommunications, ICT, media, network infrastructure, wholesale arrangements, technology implementation, digital transformation, enterprise and consumer products, procurement, licensing, leasing, cloud services, managed services and strategic partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align legal advice with business objectives and regulatory obligations.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, corporate governance standards, data protection and cybersecurity requirements.

Required profile

• LLB (Hons) degree and admission as a qualified lawyer in Singapore or another common‑law jurisdiction.
• 4 to 6 years of post‑qualification experience in commercial, corporate, telecommunications, media, ICT, data protection, cybersecurity or intellectual property law.
• Prior in‑house experience in the info‑communications, technology or media industry is an advantage.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation abilities, analytical mindset, and solution‑oriented approach.
• Self‑motivated team player capable of working independently with excellent communication skills.
