Corporate Marketing Intern

About the role

The National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) is looking for a motivated Corporate Marketing Intern to help shape youth‑focused social media campaigns that promote giving, volunteerism and philanthropy. This 4‑6 month internship starts in August and offers a hands‑on experience in a vibrant non‑profit environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and pitch social‑first content ideas that resonate with youth audiences.
• Support end‑to‑end production of short‑form video content, including storyboarding, filming and editing.
• Monitor social media trends, creators and platform updates to create timely, culturally relevant posts.
• Contribute ideas in team discussions and assist with various marketing and communication projects as needed.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a diploma or degree program (any major).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset, and passion for non‑profit work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent design tools.
• Video production and editing skills using Capcut or similar software.
• Comfortable appearing on camera when required.
