Cost Controller – Food & Beverage

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous Cost Controller to manage food and beverage costing for our luxury hotel in central Singapore. You will work closely with the F&B team to ensure accurate menu pricing, inventory control, and cost‑saving initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and price new menu items, evaluate standard recipes and determine potential costs.
• Cost all recipes, inter‑kitchen transfers and any F&B consumption by hotel staff.
• Establish par stock levels for outlets and beverage stores, and conduct physical stock counts.
• Record month‑end inventories, reconcile with the general ledger and document inventory movements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports, advising management on revenue and cost control.
• Oversee receiving and store officers to ensure compliance with control policies.
• Audit food and beverage sales, perform daily and monthly reconciliations using POS reports, and investigate discrepancies.
• Suggest improvements to cost‑control procedures and support procurement system conversion.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of finance experience, preferably in a 5‑star luxury hotel environment.
• Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail, excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Willingness to develop further and take on additional responsibilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level (especially Excel).
