Credit Analyst (Structured Lending)

About the role

A Singapore-headquartered financial services group with a regional presence in brokerage, corporate advisory, capital markets and investment banking is recruiting a Credit Analyst (Structured Lending) through a consultant. The role offers exposure to multi-asset credit analysis and structured financing, with complex deals analysed directly to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse complex financing deals with direct senior management exposure
• Conduct in-depth credit and fundamental financial analysis, assessing financial performance, creditworthiness, cash flows and underlying transaction risks
• Analyse asset classes such as listed equities, bonds, derivatives, structured products and real estate, especially as financing collateral
• Support senior credit professionals in structuring financing transactions, evaluating deal terms, preparing credit proposals and presenting recommendations to the Credit Committee
• Review financing and security documentation for compliance with internal credit policies, regulations and risk management requirements

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit analysis, preferably in collateral-backed lending, structured financing or assessment of financial assets
• Sound credit judgement and analytical problem-solving, with the ability to evaluate complex transactions and communicate risk assessments to senior stakeholders

Required skills

• Strong accounting and fundamental financial analysis skills, including assessment of financial statements and creditworthiness
• Understanding of financial instruments and asset classes; exposure to asset valuation is advantageous

The position is permanent and based internationally, with regular visibility to senior management and work alongside experienced credit professionals.
