Customer Delivery Architect - Security

About the role

Cisco is looking for a Professional Services Architect (Security) to join its Customer Success & Experience organization. As the technical and strategic authority for the Security portfolio, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers, architecting solutions across the SIEM and SOAR ecosystems, including Splunk Enterprise Security, UEBA and SOAR.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of security deployments, from initial strategy and integration to ongoing optimization.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Sales teams to influence product roadmaps and develop new strategies for monitoring customer infrastructure.
• Engage with stakeholders from the C-suite down to technical engineers to ensure operational success and strategic alignment.
• Enable client teams to manage, scale and solve complex security challenges independently.
• Mentor team members and champion a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a SOC, security consulting or security sales engineering role.
• Proven success implementing and architecting SIEM software.
• 3+ years of experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes and Docker).
• Ability to travel up to 30% regionally as required.

Required skills

• Strong background in Cloud IaaS (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Proficiency in at least two of: Python, Java.NET, PHP, Ruby, Node.js, Objective-C.
• Experience with automation/orchestration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef or Terraform.
• Comfortable working across Unix and Windows command lines.
• Experience creating technical documentation such as architecture diagrams and white papers.
• Bonus: knowledge of Splunk administration or statistical and analytical modeling.
